I believe that if you only focus on only capturing the action, you miss out on telling the whole story. Between competitors and during intermissions, I look for other ways to showcase what it means to be a part of a rodeo: the culture and history, parents passing on their skills to the next generation, athletes warming up and getting in the zone, the crowd, and more.
