Client Contract - Blacksheep Portraits

I understand that should I request to book photos of an intimate nature (e.g. boudoir), including but not limited to posing in lingerie, swimsuits, or nude, that I must be 21 years of age or older at the time of booking.

I understand that I am responsible for any minors 18 years and younger, pets, clothing, props, or other objects or people I bring to my session, and that inclusion of additional people or animals is agreed to with Blacksheep Portraits prior to booking my session. I understand that Blacksheep Portraits reserves the right to limit, change, or stop a photography session if I bring additional people or animals to my appointment without prior authorization, or if these additions cause unnecessary or unmanageable disruption to the photoshoot.

I understand that to get the best images possible, Blacksheep Portraits and I must communicate responsibly and clearly about expectations, goals, and comfort, before, during, and after my photography session. Blacksheep Portraits is NOT liable for any unusable images or not being able to provide the specified number of images due to lack of cooperation from the client or any unforeseen conflicts between the client and Blacksheep Portraits.

It is Blacksheep Portraits’ highest priority to ensure you are comfortable during a photo session. I understand that I can stop or pause a session at any time and I am responsible for communicating my comfort level verbally during my session. Should I become uncomfortable in a pose or with what I am wearing, I understand that Blacksheep Portraits will work with me to determine other options where feasible so I can have a successful and comfortable photoshoot (including and not limited to changing poses or my outfit).

I understand altering my images in any way is not permitted on any photos I have purchased from Blacksheep Portraits, including but not limited to adding additional filters, re-editing, or altering my body. Cropping for social media purposes is permitted and Blacksheep Portraits understands that often the formatting on social media apps is not within my control.

I understand that my deposit is used to secure the date of my session, and I agree to give Blacksheep Portraits 24 hours or more in advance to reschedule under normal circumstances. I understand that should I reschedule more than once, reschedule or cancel outright with less than 24 hours in advance, or not attend my session (“no show”), I will lose my deposit and will not be refunded any monies paid to Blacksheep Portraits as they will be considered forfeited.

I understand that I am able to reschedule within 24 hours should I become sick or if there is an emergency, however, the deposit and rescheduling policy above still applies.

Should my photographer cancel due to sickness, or should there be changes such as extreme weather, issues with the chosen location, or additional unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances, I will be informed as soon as possible. Blacksheep Portraits will work with me to reschedule as soon as possible. If the client and photographer are unable to reschedule due to these factors, I will be refunded all monies paid. If I rebook in the future, I will still be required to adhere to Blacksheep Portraits’ deposit and payment policies.

In the unlikely event your photographs are lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond the control of the photographer, the client will be informed as soon as possible and will be photographed again, at no additional cost. If re-shooting is not a possibility, Blacksheep Portraits’ limit of liability is the return of all monies paid to the photographer, minus any expenses incurred in the process. The limit of liability shall not exceed any payments the client has made to Blacksheep Portraits.

I understand I will be provided with a model release form prior to my session that I will read in full and sign to indicate whether Blacksheep Portraits can share my images or not, and to what degree.

I understand it is NOT required that I share my images online and my privacy and preference for sharing of any images can be changed at any time. I am able to revoke the use of my images by Blacksheep Portraits’ website and social media, however, I understand that Blacksheep Portraits is not responsible for removing any images that may have been used or shared by a third party. I am also able to provide Blacksheep Portraits with permission to share my images through an updated model release form should I change my mind at any time.

I understand that if I agree to a full or partial release of my images, I am authorizing Blacksheep Portraits to use and publish images taken during my session. I understand they may be published in a variety of ways, including but not limited to Blacksheep Portraits’ website, social media, and marketing materials.

I understand that I am booking photography services with Blacksheep Portraits and that I have read and understand all the terms above, and that I am signing in full competency, without being coerced and of my own volition.
